Proposition 8 is a bad idea. It fundamentally makes a group of citizens in California unequal. This proposition will strip the right to marry from these people. This is permanent and disrespectful.

This is not a gay issue. This is about basic fundamental rights. it’s about access to the thousands of laws, clauses, contract options, etc that use the word “marriage”. No matter how beneficial a domestic partnership law may be written, it still does not tie into the legal word “marriage”.

Please stand up and vote in November against this proposition. Do it for your neighbors, your friends, and your family.

This map is pretty darn accurate. However, I think you could throw Utah into the Religious Nutballs designation. Sorry Cindy. I can also think of a few other choice descriptions Californians have for Texas.
