I got the notice as well and didn't look close enough at it. From what I gathered, it sucks if you get really discount tickets. You won't get many miles for them. I love Air France for their service, the airplanes are more comfortable, and they fly nonstop to California.

I recently missed a flight on EasyJet in Greece and was able to quickly get an Air France flight from Athens to Paris for 15,000 miles and 50 Euros. I thought that was quite reasonable.

I hope they don't start cutting back.

I remember when it was a pleasure to fly American Airlines. They advertised more leg room and were friendly. But that went away and the service started to suck about 4 years ago. I rarely fly American now. I'd much rather use Southwest for domestic US flights.
